A Handmade Christmas?

I am desperatly trying, very hard to make presents for my daughters for Christmas this year. So far I have aprons, to go with the "store bought" kitchen...scarves...to go with the cute little L.L. Bean hats, as I cannot knit a hat to save my life. A doll for Daisy from this wonderful vintage pattern I got from Cloth Doll Supply. A cute little stuffed elephant, a life size little boy, because when the girls play, one of them always ends up being the boy (she makes her voice real deep, and says "honey, I'm home from work, what's for supper?") One time they even make mustaches over their lips with eyeshadow, and put on one of daddy's ties. Those of you who know Liv, will think this is amazing since she is such a girly little girl!
A kitty dollie, and a mobile for baby #4 expected just before Christmas. Meg from Magpies Nest wrote this great blog that gave me the extra push this year for the handmade giving...Thanks Meg, for the inspiration, not to mention the added stress..haha, no really, it is a nice feeling to give something special and unique. There are only a few members of my family who actually appreciate, or care for that matter if you bought something for them at Wal-mart or not. I made my mother a needlepunch. I'm also making my husband this "Man Scarf" for hunting out of fleece. And since I'm making one, why not make more at the same time?! So my brother and Dad are getting one as well. This seems like alot, but we also gave Target a chunk of change this month! My goal is to be finished shopping and wrapping by October 31st & finished making gifts by mid November. Then I can concentrate on NESTING......
